Playing with Strangers Session No. 6 live show took place on Oct 11, 2014 and consists of members of these bands: 
Middle Names, When Giants Fall, The I Me Mines, The Shilsholes, Zoe Has A Friend <\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

While for some of the later sessions the musicians were willing and able to get together a day or a week early to explore ideas, Session No. 6 was done on the \u201cshort schedule\u201d: <\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

We met at Soundhouse on Wednesday 6PM evening to set up for recording and got less than an hour to throw out some music ideas. <\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Met again Friday at 6PM. Had to resolve some technical issues but we got about 4 hours of work in. <\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Saturday Oct 11, we met at 10AM and continued working on the songs and the show until around 7PM. We went to dinner across the street at the Pho place – I was still frantically writing lyrics for Two for the Moment (It was actually a working title: it was the 2nd idea we were working on and when asked the title, I said \u201cWe\u2019ll call it \u201c2\u201d for the moment – it sparked an idea and I wrote the lyrics with the current title in mind). <\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

The show started about 8:45. <\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

So, these songs were written and recorded in roughly 13 hours. We overdubbed (re – recorded) the vocals within a week or two (except Two for the Moment, which I finished just before I mixed them) \u2026 and a mere eight years later \u2026. Voila! <\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Two of the live versions were used (One for the Road and Forget My Love). <\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
